Holidays

Tuesday, December 27th, 2005

Well we survived the holidays and had a great time doing so:) We started out on Christmas Eve traveling to Montello to celebrate with Mike’s grandparents and aunts and uncles. Ian and Jacob had a great time running around and playing with their cousin Paige (Janice’s 1 year old daughter). Both boys received sleeping bags and playdoh, Ian also received legos and Jacob got a Dr. Elmo doll. They each also received their annual ornament from Great Grandma and Great Grandpa.

Here are Mike’s dad and his brothers, Kevin and Larry:

Christmas day continued with gifts from Santa and each other. Santa drank all his milk and most of the cookies the boys left out for him. Each boy received their own Mr. Potato Head and a train set to share. Ian received the Go Fishing game he had asked Santa for and Jacob got a little guitar so now he can jam with dad. They also received some clothes, candy, and other small toys. Mom and dad also received some nice gifts:) After some playtime with the new toys and a quick bath, we headed to Sheboygan to celebrate with Amy’s family. As always, there was lots of food and lots of gifts. Everyone received some great things and the kids immediately put a lot of the new items to use.

Opening gifts was fast and furious for all the kids:

Finally on Dec. 26th we went to West Bend to celebrate with the Krepsky side of the family (Amy’s mom’s side). Lots of great food and conversation. We also played our yearly $5 gift exchange game. There were some really cute and creative gifts this year. Unfortunately the group was a smaller than normal, due to people having to work, but we did get a group picture and look forward to seeing everyone again soon.

We are over half way in baking the new Putnam. Amy is 24 weeks pregnant and the baby is VERY active. Here Amy and the boys show off how big the baby is making mommy’s tummy.

A visit with Santa

Wednesday, December 21st, 2005

On Saturday the 17th, we went to see Santa at the mall. While shopping Santa was walking around and gave the boys each a small candy cane. Once Santa went to sit in his sled, Ian and Jacob went up to meet him. Jacob did not want to sit with Santa, but gladly took another candy cane from him. Here is Ian telling Santa what he wants for Christmas.
