Not much to update

Friday, August 31st, 2007

Sorry to not have much new here lately.   There hasn’t been too much to report.  We have our house on the market and are hoping to get a buyer before the S word (snow) arrives.  The kids are all doing really great.  Ian will be starting kindergarten on Tuesday.  I will be sure to get his first day pics posted:)  Amy is playing with a new gadget she received for managing her diabetes.  It is a continuous glucose monitoring system.  Here is a link to what it is:  http://www.minimed.com/products/insulinpumps/components/cgm.html

Mike is enjoying his work at Bemis Co. in Neenah.  The drive is long, but hopefully that won’t last too much longer.

Hope everyone has a wonderful holiday weekend!

Great visit!

We had a wonderful visit with Gramma Owens and great Grandma Reid. They arrived early Thursday evening and were here until early Monday morning. In a few short days we managed to get out and about and have lots of time to talk and just play with the kids.

The boys loved Gramma’s handheld game:

We enjoyed an evening walk and stopped at the bridge to watch some fish:

House Hunt & Visitors!

Thursday, August 9th, 2007

We are taking the day to walk-through a number of houses in Appleton.  The kids get bored pretty quick on these excursions, so we’ll have to work in some rest stops.

Gramma Owens and Great Gramma Helen will be visiting us this weekend.  It will be nice to be with them as it has been a long time since the last visit.
