Saturday we attended a Crime Prevention Day event in town. There was lots of neat things to see and do. We were able to sit in a police car (front and back), get lots of little toys and badges, saw the emergency helicopter land, got pics and fingerprints done. The boys also did a demonstration with others in the Tae Kwon Do class. Ian was nervous, but once he got out there you couldn’t tell at all. Here’s a little bit of pictures, but our camera batteries died in the middle so we didn’t get too many.

The next day the kids helped dad carve two of the pumpkins. Here are pics while they were cleaning out the pumpkins. Pictures of the final jack-o-lanterns still to come.

About mid-Oct. we took a drive south of Milwaukee to a pumpkin patch called Apple Holler. Here they had many activities for kids and adults. The trip also allowed Amy to meet some friends from an online Diabetic Mommy forum she frequents.
