All moved!

Monday, May 26th, 2008

We have finished our move!  It was a crazy few days, but we are in our new home and settling in nicely.  We are so lucky to have wonderful neighbors again.  Everyone keeps coming over and offering help, the kids already have friends coming to the door to ask them out to play too.

HUGE THANKS to Dawn Schoening for all her help.  She watched the kids all day Friday and still helped to unload, clean, and set-ups beds.  She stayed that night and helped all evening and all the next day too.  We definitely wouldn’t be as settled as we are without her help.  THANK YOU!!!

More HUGE THANKS to Ed Putnam for spending all evening Thursday and all day Friday helping with all the loading and heavy lifting.  Amy managed to strain her ankle within the first hour of loading the truck Thursday, so having Ed here was so needed to get everything in and get us out of the old house on time!  THANK YOU!

THANK YOU also to Kathy Schoening for running for food and helping watch the kids Thursday and loading her car up so we could get everything loaded in one trip.  Everyone was so helpful and we truly appreciate it!!

Ian’s class had an incubator with chick eggs.  There was a slight scare one day when the incubator got unplugged for a while.  But luckily almost all the eggs still hatched.
