Walk for a cure

Friday, April 24th, 2009

The walk is on the 16th. There is still plenty of time to donate if you’d like. Every dollar helps, so even if you can only donate a few dollars, we’d really appreciate it.

We will be walking in this years walk to cure diabetes for JDRF. Please help out if you can. As most of you probably know this cause is close to our hearts. Many people in Amy’s family have diabetes, including Amy and our young niece. You can visit our Facebook page or click HERE to donate. Thanks!

Birthday party

Thursday, April 23rd, 2009

We celebrated Zoe’s third birthday at home with family. It was a very fun day. The kids did a treasure hunt, played with the helium balloons, and the biggest hit was the pin the tail on the inflatable donkey:) The adults even got in on that one. Zoe loved all the attention and received some really fun gifts. After the party the kids went out and enjoyed the beautiful day. Jacob and Kalyn put on full costumes. Jacob was a dinosaur and Kalyn was Batgirl. They played outside in costume for over an hour. One neighbor even stopped to ask if we were having a costume party. The big kids (Mike, Dennis, Laura, and Amy) played some Wii later that day too. The kids slept really well after the fun-filled day.

Thanks to everyone who came to the party and for all the wonderful gifts!

We bought a cupcake cake. It was tasty, but they had to use A LOT of frosting to hold it together, so it gave quite the sugar rush.

Zoe is three!

Sunday, April 5th, 2009

Zoe is three years old! She has grown so much in the last few months and has become a real chatter box. She thinks about everything and asks many very interesting questions. She continues to be a dare devil and loves imitating her brothers. She is a true joy!

Happy Birthday Zoe!
