I hurt my back last weekend which left me mostly horizontal for a week. Feeling much better, though not out of the woods. Here is the view from the floor of my cubicle as I take a few minutes over the lunch hour to stop standing.

June 21st, 2010School’s out!
June 9th, 2010Well school is out for the summer. The boys both had a great year. Hard to imagine that I will have a 1st grader and 3rd grader next school year! Here is a pic from their first day of school and the last day of school. The last day picture was hard to get since it was raining, but we managed a good picture anyway.
Day one:

Last day:

We hope everyone has a great summer! We have lots of house projects and kids activities planned, so we will be sure to stay busy and have fun!
A few more weeks
April 26th, 2010I have only a few more weeks until my school semester is done. There are way too many tests and finals coming up the next few weeks, but I think I will survive:) This is still the easy part, I haven’t even hit the hard courses yet.
I have again been slack getting an update and am only here today to say that it will be a few weeks yet again. I need to stay focused on these last few weeks and then I will have one less thing to have to worry about for a few months. Hopefully we will also get our empty bathroom done soon after that too. It really isn’t that fun having to share a sink with kids who aren’t very clean when brushing their teeth. I have seen way too many speckles on my mirror.
Before my semester ends, we will be walking in the JDRF walk again this year. The walk in on May 15th. Thanks to all who have already been so generous with donations. There is still plenty of time left for anyone to donate yet too. As many know this is a very important issue for our family. My young niece has diabetes, I have diabetes, and my dad passed away from complications of diabetes this year. We really would love to see a cure for this disease. If you’d like to donate go to the JDRF website.
We are almost half way to our goal of raising $500 (that’s only $100 for each member of our family), so please help us reach our goal. THANKS!
We hope everyone is doing well!
